Factors: Track should improve during the day. I am a bit biased but confident jockey Ric McMahon can give the Jockeys Challenge a shake at $4.

Numbers: 5x, 1, 3, 10.
Race 7: Leealan turned in eye-ctaching effort from wide gate last start, handy type, fitter and should box seat. Pure Purrfection drawn wide, but might be OK out wide at this stage of the day. Former Sydneysider Time To Plunder having first start for new stable, chance if right.
Numbers: 6x, 9, 1, 11.
Race 8: Kuchinskaya fitter for two runs and scored nice win latest. Mishani sinner racing consistently midweek grade, nice weight drop here. Tiger Dimejan first-up and drawn wide, but has touch of class and impressive trial winner. Tom’s Luck is consistent and should appreciate the sting out of track.
